Many curriculum writers believe that unit plans will be more effective if they can be centered around an authentic performance task. A unit can be written to equip students with the necessary tools necessary to solve real world problems.
I've decided to document some on my units using this model and would like feedback from other mathematics teachers who are implementing UbD effectively.
